Galleri Klejn shows two ceramic artists with very different and very personal artistic expressions.

 

Helene Callesen experiments with clay paintings, where the clay she digs in nature is mixed with water and used as liquid pigments that appear as sensual graphic expressions on the paper.

 

Mariko Wada explores the sculptural possibilities of the clay with regard to form, expression, sensuality, materiality, etc., most often established in a spatial context where the viewer can discover.

 

Both ceramic artists explore the possibilities of clay - looking for new expressions in the material - and "traces" our senses.
